You're welcome to bring your own portable instrument to your trial lesson, or use one provided in our studio. If you decide to continue, your tutor can advise you on a suitable instrument for home practice and your budget.
Individual lessons are available in 30, 45 or 60-minute sessions. We'll help you choose the most suitable length based on the student's age, experience and goals.
Yes. Our group lessons are kept small, with a maximum of five students, so everyone receives plenty of individual attention while enjoying the energy of learning and making music together.
Not at all. Performance opportunities are always optional. We encourage students to take part when they feel ready, but there is never any pressure to perform.
Yes. For students who choose to work towards graded exams, our tutors can provide structured preparation while keeping lessons enjoyable and tailored to each student's goals.
If you'd like to continue, we'll help you choose a suitable lesson length and arrange your regular lessons with your tutor. There's no obligation to continue after your trial.
We're based at Pear Mill in Stockport, Greater Manchester, with easy access from the M60 and surrounding areas. Ample on-site parking is available, making drop-offs, pick-ups and visits to the academy simple and convenient.
Parents are welcome to wait in our comfortable waiting area while lessons are taking place. Whether a parent should remain during the lesson itself may depend on the child's age and individual needs.
